What does Slate do?
Slate is one place for a small team to chat, plan, and work: Feed, Meet, Chat, Board, Calendar, Time, Whiteboard, and Notepad in a single workspace. Every card keeps its purpose, owner, decisions, sources, and open questions, so the why stays with the work instead of scattering across tools.
How is Slate different from Asana, Linear, or Trello?
Those tools track tasks. Slate keeps the conversation, the meeting, the decision, and the card together in one workspace, and gives agents the same seat a person has. On desktop, the whole workspace is also a .slate folder of Markdown files beside your code, readable by your team and by any coding agent.
Do we bring our own agents, or use yours?
